Job description
You will join a group of 6 persons which supports pre-clinical projects with protein production according customer’s needs.
Under the supervision of a project manager, you will:
Manage expression of recombinant proteins in different host systems including bacteria, insect cells and mammalian cells (HEK and CHO).
Troubleshoot experimental issues.
Participate in the daily operation of the lab.
Provide written accurate reporting.
Profile
You should have a two years university diploma or a License in life science, biochemistry or any other related area. You should master cultures and handling of cells under safety hood for large scale protein production. Some practical & theoretical knowledge of expression of protein in different hosts (bacteria, insect cells, mammalian cells…) would be an asset, as well as previous experience using Wave bioreactor system.
The candidate should have 2 years experience in the field of cell culture and recombinant protein production.
We are seeking a person who speaks fluently French and who has a good level in English (writing and speaking).
We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist, enjoying bench work, who has a keen sense of responsibility and who is able to work independently.
The candidate is expected to be highly rigorous, reliable, organized and capable of multitasking in an environment with changing priorities.
