Job description
You will join one of the teams of the Structural Biology department, dedicated to the production, purification and structural characterization of various protein targets.
Under the supervision of a project manager, you will:
- Purify recombinant proteins expressed in different host systems
- Perform Quality Control of resulting material (MALS, NanoDSF, Western Blot)
- Establish, prepare and revise standard protocols
- Troubleshoot experimental issues
- Provide written accurate reporting.
Profile
You should have a BAC+2/Licence (+3) in life science, biochemistry, or any other related area, or have strong experience in this field as a Senior Technician. You should master protein production/purification. Some practical & theoretical knowledge of protein expression in different hosts (bacteria, insect cells, mammalian cells) would be an asset, as well as previous experience using AKTA purification systems.
The candidate should have 3 years of experience in the field of recombinant protein production.
We are seeking a person with good communication skills, who can interact in French and is able to read and write reports in English.
We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist, enjoying bench work, who has a keen sense of responsibility and who is able to work independently.
The candidate is expected to be highly rigorous, reliable, organized and capable of multitasking in an environment with changing priorities.
